My sister asked me where I went . . .

It has been a wee while since I've been back to update the old blog. I don't have much time now either, school starts in 40 minutes (yes on Saturday :) That's one reason the blogging has fallen behind. The other is, I am trying to exercise more. Gotta love that P 90 X right? :) There are posts I'd like to share, but for now, I will throw on a few "end of summer" pics and give the G will Rock You post a 2nd place spot on the Hugs-a-blog :)


For whatever reason, caterpillars like to transform into butterflies on this same little patch of siding on the back of our house. The kids were delighted to catch the premiere appearance of this beautiful monarch butterfly.


One afternoon, I happened to realize we had all the makings of banana splits . . . so we made them! Yummy! Happy kids :)


Goofing around with our camera, I discovered it has a "pet age" setting. I'm not sure how it works, but it somehow stamps the age of your pet into every pic you take of it! Cool, huh? While messing around with the many settings, we took a couple silly pics of the kids too :)




P.S. Our "little" 4 month old puppy now weighs the same as our youngest almost four-year-old child . . . 44 lbs! And actually, that was a two weeks ago, he's probably approaching 50 now. Whoa!!

Colorado

We took the world's fastest--and slowest--trip to Colorado for Buck's stepmom's memorial service. I say fastest, because it took...
