Just over a month since my last post :)

Blogging has been on my "to-do" list for weeks! But, a list is a list for a reason, and for whatever reason it seems to fill back up with "to-do"s about as fast as I get my "to-do"s done! Whew! We haven't been up to too much lately, the usual school, babysitting, and enduring our dog :)

Here are a few glimpses into our January/February:

 We finished a couple more puzzles (thanks Maga!)

 Buck made some bacon gravy (I didn't think it was possible, but he said it tasted pretty good! :)

Caelan made her first round of cupcakes from scratch, solo...the first batch had a few quirks (such as baking soda in place of baking powder, which I've done myself, ahem, recently :) But Buck took her through the process the second time and the cupcakes tasted tasty!

 We replaced our shaky, coffee-sloshing, covered in fingernail polish and marker, not to mention dried-on food from the past 7 years kitchen table.

 The boys were VERY proud to help their dad build it (attach the legs) and made sure to mention how they'd helped to anyone who happened to visit within that first two weeks :)

 And Chauncey did this . . . I guess he looks . . . comfortable??

Oh what a dog (he is onto his fifth collar now after breaking yet another one, AND snapping the tie-out wire! Really?)
