We might have broken a few rules during the covid season. I know that many people were being extremely cautious, and we were very cautious, too. It is challenging with teenagers, (who see each other at work or volunteering) to not hang out at other times. Kids need their people :) And we only spent time with other essential worker families whose risk/exposure factor was very similar to our own. We tried to keep activities outside as much as possible, and badminton was certainly the game of the season!

I think this was Memorial Day--after the kids did their *by family group* social distancing photos, things got a little mixed up in the back yard :)

Our first in-person Bible study in months! The kids went for a hike through our pastor's field and out to some old cars that are abandoned there.


I may have already posted this pic; it's the day we all went out to the farm for skeet shooting and other weaponry. The girls were collecting missed clays for another round.


We're grateful we had opportunities to use caution, but also keep up relationships over the past several months. Spurts of good weather offered opportunities to connect and enjoy fresh air and healthy sunshine! Praying for this covid mess to go away and for those who have been deeply affected by it to find restoration and healing.
