It's been a busy week, as usual! Brennen's buddy completed the online coursework to get his driver's license, so Brennen has been packing in the driving hours to do the same. The sun has warmed the land and turned the yard into a soupy mud bog for Miss Muriel . . . she had more baths last week than in her life combined (probably, maybe? but who's counting? :)!
While we were doing chicken chores, Graysen hung up the sign Buck got me for Christmas . . . we actually have many of the pictured chicken breeds accounted for in our collection :)
I honestly don't know what all I planned to write on this blog post, but it was probably epic! We've spent much of the past week talking with church leaders about the decision that was made in regards to our worship leader. We had breakfast with our pastor, dinner with our NGFs, dinner--15 lbs of homemade lasagna--with our worship director and his family, we invited my brother and sister-in-law over for dinner (at the same time as Caelan's college friends and Brennen's sweetheart . . . pictures to follow :), and we had a morning meeting with our other lead pastor. We are slowly gaining clarification and trying to understand. In the meantime, we were gifted some beautiful sunsets!

If you picked Uncle C snuggling Brennen on the couch in front of all of Caelan's friends and Brennen's sweetheart, you are CORRECT!! Lol!
It was not long after the A crowd left that those guitars, etc. in the background found their way off of the wall and into the hands of the musicians in the room. There was much laughter, loud strumming, and a broken desk chair (mine) in the process, but they all seemed to have a good time (and who ever said desk chairs need two arms?? :)
