Most of the carrots we've pulled have been short, stubby things that looked deformed and not much like the expected vegetable. However, somehow this monster managed to push through the clay and grow into epic proportions (in our dwarf garden, this thing is like the Titanic of vegetables compared to a dinghy). It's hard to show how gigantic it really is in a picture, but let me just tell you . . . AT LEAST four bunnies could make a solid meal out of this overachiever of the vegetable world :)

Colossal Carrot
I looked out the window, wondering what had become of the noisy football crowd gathered in our backyard. To my surprise, our boys had all the neighborhood boys up digging carrots in the garden :)
