First Flag Football Game

Special first time ever guest blogger--Buck!
Key dramatic music in your head....
The Autumn Wind is a pirate
Blustering in from sea,
With a rollicking song, he sweeps along,
Swaggering boisterously.
His face is weather beaten.
He wears a hooded sash......
He growls as he storms the country,
A villain big and bold.
And the trees all shake and quiver and quake,
As he robs them of their gold......
Such a great time of year for me, so many of the things I enjoy sharing with the kids are during the fall. We have a new adventure for the boys starting this year.
We have a local sports league here that offers football,  basketball and baseball.  The boys have been asking us about playing football for the last few years.  Our schedules and their willingness to take on some of the financial responsibility made this year a yes!
With practices twice a week and games on Saturdays, the boy are getting fully saturated in the basics of football.
Although the boys did not win their first game, they each had some exciting plays. Including a pass from Brennen to Graysen (video below)! Both boys had an interception, although Brennen accidentally clipped his brother attempting to block for him.
While playing quarterback Brennen picked up a fumble and ran it in for a touchdown. Graysen also had a fumble recovery.
At one point Brennen attempted to hurdle a defender.  Apparently he has been watching Todd Gurley a bit too much.
Fun was had by all! The next morning comments about their entire body being sore. Ohhhh memories.

Here's a pic of Buck taking a pic of the pic you saw above :)
