Pupdate

Well, at the puppy's last training class he showed us some surprising things he knew that we didn't know he knew. Caelan got to show off a little, and we all felt proud of the white fluff ball at the end of her leash :) The swirl of puppies reunited and playing in a rollicking circle reminded me  of a school of fish spinning towards the light--mesmerizing!

After the training class, we left our pup with one of the trainers for his early morning neutering appointment. We made arrangements to pick him up on Tuesday, but he still wasn't feeling great, so back to the vet he went. The young woman who planned to bring him 3/4 of the way to us . . . didn't work Wednesday. So, finally Thursday morning we met and got back our very happy training pup. He jumped all over Caelan which is strictly forbidden. It's not easy to contain a giant puppy's joy!

We also found out that at this point, not only does he need medicine and a cone for his surgery recovery, but he also has an ear infection AND a mouth infection. So, Caelan has become a veterinarian overnight, administering meds and drops and cones and whew! We gave both dogs their heartworm (Chauncey had his tests and shots while the puppy was away), but they both still need their flea and tick medicine. I mean . . .

Other than that, we're back in puppy business!

I almost forgot :) Before he left for his vacation, our training puppy learned how to facetime with Grandma J. He's so techy!

And trendy . . . here he is in Chauncey's Christmas sweater (it fits him better ;)

Yeah, he wasn't too interested in face timing with me. He looks like he really likes the sweater.

Colorado

We took the world's fastest--and slowest--trip to Colorado for Buck's stepmom's memorial service. I say fastest, because it took...
