What a big day for Doodles! We loaded up two cars early(ish ;) in the morning and started our two-hour long drive to graduation. Gabby wanted to walk with other homeschoolers in an official ceremony. She was one of five who got to wear the golden cord for the National Honor Society. Her diploma has a Summa Cum Laude designation in it, meaning her high school GPA was top notch. Nicely done, Gabby!
Our first stop was Maga's house. We had just enough time to snap some pictures with the Crew and to eat some of the lunch my mom had catered. Then Gabby and I scooted off to the college to rehearse the graduation process.
The weather was perfect, the speaker told us to remember God when we look at fields and the sky, the 80 plus graduates could hardly wait to move their tassels, a big contingent of family filled two rows of chairs, pictures were taken, hugs were given, Gabby was celebrated, and we're so proud of all she's accomplished! Yay, graduation day!!
