Rooted

Whilst sitting in on band practice a couple weeks ago, my fellow *band mom* and I decided our fledgling musicians needed a band name. We had no farther to look than across the room . . . at a tree someone painted on the basement wall who knows  how many years ago. The kids are rooted in Christ and they practice in a basement--how much more rooty can you get? :) After practice last week, I decided we'd better get some pics of the band before the church renovations wipe out their current logo (new carpet, paint, ceilings, and hopefully furniture are due to make that space WAY more tolerable in future weeks :) Funny that two of them randomly wore Broncos gear and the other two wore dark green. The band broke into dance party mode half way through my photography efforts. Safe to say, I think they had fun with their first photo shoot . . .

Rooted plays for the youth group tomorrow evening for the first time, prayers appreciated! They also have been invited to play a graduation party for one of our seniors in May. Look at them go! :)
