Baby Day

When you're having a rough week, and you expect to check Spanish II homework during music lessons and find out that you're supposed to hold a sweet three-month-old bundle of baby girl instead . . . this is a time to NOT complain :) A little baby in one hand, a little Peter Pan reading in the other, not a bad afternoon!

Graysen may have other ideas of a fun afternoon :)

At youth group (where everyone is a former baby, so my title still works :), Buck was invited up to play Family Feud on the leader team (he so rarely gets a youth group night off to lead anymore, they made sure to get him as involved as possible). Caelan was on the youth team.

It took a surprisingly long time to come up with "family" names, but they got it accomplished, and then had to figure out the top answers for "how to send a birthday greeting" as polled by our speaker/worship leader on his Facebook page for the evening :)

The adults started strong with a good first answer, but as there was only one question and no buzzer options, the youth quickly stole the board. It bounced back to the adults once more, but their answer was way too "old."

If I remember correctly, Caelan supplied the final "show me" answer on the board (Facebook tribute--funny because she doesn't even have a Facebook account), but it wasn't quite enough to take the lead. The adults win the game . . . of course! ;)

Whose baby? So cute! Family Feud looks like fun. We want to have a neighborhood New Year's Eve party and we have already nominated one of our guys to be the Family Feud Host!

It's our music teacher, Perry's little girl :)

Colorado

We took the world's fastest--and slowest--trip to Colorado for Buck's stepmom's memorial service. I say fastest, because it took...
