Almost Like New

It took two weeks (and they stole my hand sanitizer pump, but don't worry our neighbor gave us one that she was about to throw away :), but the new blue Kia is looking pretty spiffy! Yes, it cost double what I thought it would . . . deep breath. And we didn't get all of the big scratches out, but here you can see the rear bumper and side that was crushed in six weeks after purchase (sigh). The great news is the sensor is no longer inside the bumper, so after three years, it doesn't screech when I back up, unless there actually is something there to hit! Woohoo!

Here's the second church-parking lot smash, this time by a large Suburban . . . can't see it, because it's gone :) Our friends paid us directly for this one. All better!

And this sleek, shiny side is where the little Minnesota kid (so we suspect) rammed his bicycle handlebars down the paint . . . like scratching a lotto ticket, lol! Whoohoo, the waves of scratch are gone (IDK, maybe he keyed it . . . don't park on my street!) Anyway, all better, too!

These car repairs brought to you by our Covid stimulus check :) Thank you, American government!

Too bad you had to use your stimulus check, but glad you were able to fix it. I can't believe they took your hand sanitizer!!!!!

Colorado

We took the world's fastest--and slowest--trip to Colorado for Buck's stepmom's memorial service. I say fastest, because it took...
