It's spring! It's time for school to be out for the summer . . . or maybe even longer :) Gabby decided that experiencing a formal graduation ceremony in high school was sufficient, so, when the opportunity to walk again, this time for her associate degree, presented itself--she wanted to support her brothers and Chase at their final choir concert, instead. But finishing a business degree (LOTS of HARD classes) in one year is pretty remarkable, and we wanted to celebrate Gabby's accomplishment--so we picked a night (Sunday, of course :) and off to dinner we went!
A lot of other people had a similar idea, lol! Gabby's restaurant of choice was swamped and didn't take reservations. However, my *45 minutes to an hour* expected wait was like 25 minutes--which was sooner than anyone in our party was expected to arrive. To my surprise, they sat the four of us present, despite their posted rules that the entire party must be there for such to happen. Sweet! We ended up sitting at two tables, back-to-back, but took lots of pictures outside together afterwards to commemorate the occasion :)
My brother helped Gabby recreate the picture they took at her high school graduation last May :)
I had to share Gabby's epic hair toss ;)
Chase graduated high school this spring, too! They are so cute. I'm glad Chase and his parents could join our celebratory dinner and we look forward to celebrating his accomplishment in June :)
