Puppies

Lots of puppies have arrived to become future helper dogs! With that many mouths to feed, the organization needs volunteers to feed, snuggle, clean up after, and play with the puppies several times each day. We were out of food and needed to pick up our pup's preventatives, so we signed up for a lunch shift and pretty much cuddled our way through the lunch hour (heart eyes emoji!!)

There are 10 pups in this litter, and we all chose a favorite--or two favorites. I definitely had to check the kids to make sure no puppies made it into the van with us for the return trip home :)

We woke the puppies up, helped them find the potty pads (cleaned up a lot of misses), called them by their names (so they learn them), snuggled and played with them, helped them eat their first solid food (the day before we would have been bottle feeding to supplement their nursing), they went potty again and then were ready to snooze. Full circle :) Darling little Bernedoodle dears!

Oh, and we got TONS of food for our boarder. Mission accomplished. Whew!
