Mom and Caliente were already at a hotel near the show choir destination (as were CJ and all of his singing friends). In the morning, on the day of the competition, the hosting school cancelled the event, and sent everyone to their buses to drive home through the disastrous weather. (I need a forehead slap emoji). However, as the weather by us wasn't so terrible, though admittedly slippery, mom and Caliente were able to stop by for an afternoon visit.
With them, they brought *Natasha.* Maga requested that the sewing form be named by our girls. They decided since she was covered in black velvet, she could be a super hero--how about Black Widow? But, I don't allow spiders in my house, so they went with Black Widow's given name--Natasha. Oddly enough, they later dressed her up as Spider-Man (what's with all the spiders!?)
She's had many costume changes, Natasha has, from an Egyptian queen to, well, Spider-Man going to prom? Natasha also served her given purpose--helping get the Home Ec. dresses altered! I still don't think they are done, but Gabby used the form for some pinning alterations. Spring is just 18 days away, maybe the dresses will be ready for wear by then. Thanks Maga! (and Natasha :)
